By plane
Reach Capodichino Airport in Naples and travel toward the Riviera and Positano. From here you can reach Positano by helicopter. The flight lasts about 20 minutes and it can carry at most four people.
By train/ coach
Reach the Naples or Salerno Railway Station, respectively to the north and south of the Riviera. Coaches departing for Amalfi from Naples, Sorrento and Salerno stop at Positano. We recommend checking the schedule on the website of the transport company (www.campaniatrasporto.it).
By car
Leave the A3 motorway at Vietri sul Mare, pass Maiori, Minori and Amalfi, and reach Positano; as an alternative, you can exit at Castellamare di Stabia, and follow the indications for the Sorrento Peninsula and then for Positano. It is not advisable to travel by car along the Amalfi Riviera in summer, since different provisions designed to limit traffic, which reaches peak intensity in August, making circulation very hard, are yearly implemented.
By sea
In summer there are links from Naples, Sorrento and Salerno to resorts situated along the Amalfi Coast.
